The Games Tab of the application is where you will primarily go to find games, install games that you're missing, and add games to your favorites.
The Games Tab consists of multiple rows and a tile view of all games available. Each row of games also has a "View All" grid option, which will show you more of the selected list. The default interface view will only show you 25 tiles in a row, while the tile view will display the full list.
If you cannot find a game from the lists, you will be able to use the in-app search bar, located at the top of the app, to find the game.
The Games Tab is organized in:
1. My Games
This is the top row, which contains two types of entries:
-
Installed games on the system, auto-detected by the software
-
Games bookmarked manually by a user
The application will automatically detect games installed on your machine. This process is nearly-instant. In the rare case that you can't find your installed games, you can run the detection process manually by tapping Refresh.
2. Trending Games
3. Free-to-Play Games
This is a list of popular Free to Play (F2P) titles that we support through the software.
The F2P list will give you a quick and easy way to jump to the publisher's website and download that title to play on your system.
4. Genres
Lastly are the personalized genre rows.
Game Details
Each game has its own detailed view. For example, if a user selects Valorant, the app will show a modal with more details about Valorant, including:
-
Game name
-
Genre
-
Media about the game, such as trailer videos and screenshots from the game
-
An overall star rating, which is an aggregate of critical reviews and user reviews
-

-

-
Publisher and developer info
-
PEGI and ESRB ratings
-
Description of the game
-
External links such as Steam Store, official website, etc.
Action Buttons
Last but not least, there are a few action buttons available from the Game Details modal, including:
-
Rate this game - allows a user to rate and review a game. These comments do not get posted publicly at this time. However, in the future, we may curate some positive user reviews to show within the application. But as of right now, we're merely gathering reviews.
-
Bookmark - by clicking on the bookmark button, a user adds the game to their My Games list.
-
Leaderboards - in a future version of the software, there will be Leaderboards for every game support, which will be viewable from here.
